From Santiago airport there are four possibilities to reach Viņa del Mar:

  • Lan Chile has a direct service Santiago Airport - Viņa del Mar arriving to Avenida Libertad. Departures from Santiago Airport are at 8:00, 14:30, 20:30 and 22:30. Departures from Viņa del Mar are at 5:00 10:15, 12:45, 16:45. Cost 5000 Chilean pesos ~ 8 dollars.
  • A private taxi cost about 40.000 Chilean pesos (~60 dollars).
  • Delfos shuttle bus has direct service from the airport to the costal area of Vina Del Mar, however it is a shared minibus, they left where the shuttle is full.
  • Rental Cars: AVIS, ALAMO, Bert, Hertz, Budget, Econorent & Rosselot have desks on the first floor of the airport in two areas: Arrivals (just before baggage reclaim) and the west side of the airport's public area. Dep Tax: US$18. Airport Tel No: (0)2 690 1753.
From Santiago, long distance buses operated by Tur-Bus run to Valparaiso and depart frequently, metro sation Universidad de Santiago or Metro station Pajaritos. Cost US$2.50.
